Getting Started for New Users

Registration is now open for:

If you have not registered as a user on ITRC Connect, you will need to create an account and be approved to gain access. Before applicants from the private sector (industry, consultants, vendors, and trade associations) can participate in ITRC, their organization must join the Industry Affiliates Program (IAP).

To create an account:
REGISTER FOR ITRC MEMBERSHIP

  • On the next screen, fill in the required fields on the form: Email, First Name, Last Name, Job Title, Company Name, Zip/Postal Code, Work Phone, Organization Type, and Password (twice to confirm). Click "Create Account."
  • You will be taken to the "Email Verification Pending" page. At the same time, an activation email will be sent to the email address you provided on the register screen. Once you click the link in the email to verify you are not a robot and have access to the email you registered with, your account will be sent to an administrator for approval.
  • If you do not receive a verification email, enter your email address into the form and click "Send Activation Email."
  • Once you click on the link in the email you will get the "Email Verified" screen. At this point, your email address has been verified.
  • Once an administrator approves your account, you will receive another email stating your account has been approved. It will also include a link to your member profile on the community site. Click on the link to gain access to the community and be taken to your profile page.


Getting Started for Registered Users

If you are a registered user and have not yet set up your account on ITRC Connect, or have forgotten your password, you will need to reset your password to gain access.

To reset your password:

Forgot Password

  • On the next screen (Reset Password), fill in your email address used for your ITRC account. Click "Send Password Link."
  • If a valid account exists, you will receive a reset password email with a link to click and reset your password.
  • Clicking on the link will take you back to the site. There you will enter a new password and confirm it. Your password must be between 8 and 30 characters, contain at least 1 capital letter, contain at least 1 numeric character (0-9) and contain at least 1 special character (~!@#$%^&*()_+{}:"<>?). Click Update.

The system will update your password and log you into the site.

  • Monday, May 10th: 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 11th: 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 12th: 10:00 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 13th: 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
  • Friday 14th: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Information on how to connect during these times will be emailed to registered users.

About the New ITRC Connect!

We are excited to bring you the new ITRC Connect system! ITRC Connect is taking the place of old ITRC Teams system, where collaborative work and discussion will happen going forward.

As part of launching the ITRC Connect all existing users and team content has been migrated over to this new system. Once you gain access, you will find your existing content waiting for you to continue working where you left off. One change to note is that instead of teams, the ITRC Connect refers to communities. To find your old team content, you will look for a community with the same name.

A few of the improvements the new ITRC Connect system bring to collaborative working:

  • The system is built on Higher Logic, a best-of-breed community platform built for organizations looking to empower users with highly effective collaborative working tools
  • Events are now more robust, allowing for better setup, notifications and calendar integration
  • Document collaboration through the "filing cabinet" allows for more functionality, organization, and a better editing experience
  • Communications and notifications, as well as their management is improved with the new system
